THOR
Fearless Prophet
I just watched a special on the canal and yes there are lots of ships that are now too big to fit thru. Giant super container ships for one. But Panama is going to build new locks to accomadate them and they will also reuse the water like locks in Europe do. Currently the water is flushed out to sea when they drain the locks, obviously this takes millions upon millions of gallons of water from the lake that powers the canals. There is worry that the rainforest that provides the water for this lake is not providing as much water as in the past so they are looking at ways to conserve the water.
