They really needed to show the ages what they are/were made of . . . I guess they did.

When I think of The Who this is not what I see or hear in my mind.

I have never been a Prince fan and really never paid attention to him. I saw the SB press conference a couple years ago and he just nailed it! Full group and a smoking Tele. I tried to find the video but it's gone. It was better then the SB show but that was very good also. But I'm not a fan just an admirer of his capabilities.

I thought it was decent. Both of 'em actually looked pretty good: none of that haggard rock star stuff. Daltrey's voice took a minute or two to warm up, but then seemed to fit the style pretty well. Townshend sounded pretty enthusiastic on guitar. They've still got it. I hope I catch 'em at half time, though I thoroughly don't understand the point of football.

I loved Daltrey's quip:

“We’re going to be playing for about 12 minutes at halftime,” he said. “But I’ve heard if you take out the commercials, there’s about 11 minutes of [the teams] playing.”

“We’re going to be playing longer than the players,” Townshend added.
