These ADS L980 speakers sold for a ton!

I contacted the seller to see what happened and they sold for almost all of his asking price (local sale).

Wow! I have seen nice examples come and sell for in the 500-700 range. Blew my mind!

He is in Seattle though, a VERY good area for local sales of HIFI.

Yeah, I was watching those as I have a set. Mine with NOS spare woofers, mid, tweeter, grilles, and factory F900 swivel stands.

Have you seen the other L980s that have been on ebay? A pair in maine sold for around 500, I guess shipping/location and teh fact that a hardcore ADS collector with $$ to spare lived in the next town over.

I have a pair of those and i doubt ill ever find something that like better! One of my luckiest thrifting days ever is the day i found those. Been used daily since then
