That A4 in the photo above is basically a 210 with "wings" on it.
Actually the fashionable thing to do nowadays is take a single 210 and split it in half to yield two (sub)woofers. Works a treat, too.

I manhandled many like those in my youth, crewing at the local venue while in university.
We used to say that the proper way to do a soundcheck for Hawkwind was to have a roadie walk back and forth in front of the stage, while they played. When his ears started to bleed, you'd nailed it!
I think I meant Motorhead, not Hawkwind. Still, Lemmy was in Hawkwind for a while...

My manhandling days are slowly fading. My 210's are not even loaded with drivers yet and i've installed wheels and handles(Altec parts of course) so that i may continue to be able to move them about for years to come.
The new place is going to have ground level entry to the mancave, so it's likely the 210/A4's will get hauled outdoors for a couple annual summer "events".

Heh. Those speaks in the original pic are from Rent-To-Own. They have a pair blasting talk radio outside the store next to my local WalMart.
