Wasn't looking for Barcelona's but these came up decided not to pass..not like you see them every day...I certainly don't

Used the step process to get them out, first onto a small table and then down onto a cushion. I will refinish the cabs and there is a small piece of veneer missing(but I will take care of that too)

These sound great in the garage, can't wait til they are done so I can hear how they sound in the house...
Using Bozak B305's now and thought those were great ,the Altecs has such clarity and brings out the subtle nuances ...These go straight to the top...
I plan on changing out the caps but will pretty much leave them as is......
They have the doping surrounds instead of foam and the cabinets and all grills are in great shape.
A little less tinkering and a little more listening with these

i remember these from the big ads in High Fidelity magazine when i first started reading it, about '70 or '71. i believe they were available with bi-amping?

here is the veneer is missing, I am confident I can fix that this weekend with some new laminate...Already have the tops taken down and ready for refinish... The problem I have now is playing them while working on them..!

I find myself plopping down in a beach chair between them
This may take a while....

the brillance controls were scratchy, but cleaned them up and these do sing.
The mids are wonderful, and the bass really pushes some air.

I pinch myself everytime I walk by them in the garage.....
