Nice looking speaker. I read up on this model, the official first production speaker by Jim Thiel from 1976, and it is designed to work with a special equalizer that comes with a set.
The seller doesn't have the equalizer... it's used to extend bass response down to about 30 Hz. So, using these may require cranking up the bass response on the pre-amp to compensate. Not sure if that'll result in an undesirable colorization of the sound.
The newer (90s) Thiels that have an equalizer, the equalizer is "optional", I don't use mine with the CS3.5, so it may not be a biggie that it is missing. If original drivers, I would go for it just to try them out.
