Things you don't see anymore.

I was looking for old photos of a town near where I grew up and came across a forum discussion about all sorts of things you don't see anymore.It can be anything.
I'll start off with a strange one;
White dog poop. Milk floats. Grocery vans round the doors with a wee queue of women gossiping as they wait their turn. Telegraph poles. Smoke coming out of chimneys and those things that rotated on top of them,we called them grannies.

1979-81 Toyota Celicas. They used to be so common, but I don't think I've seen one in ten years.

Of course, after the "Cash For Clunkers" program, a lot of old cars hit the crusher earlier than necessary so there are plenty of others you don't see much anymore.

- little old guys picking up pop bottles on the side of the road

* Only applies to states with "bottle bills" that require a deposit. Apparently, charging people to throw away their bottles (as in, lose the deposit) is good incentive not to litter. Wish they'd do the same for cigarette packs and fast food wrappings ...
