So this ad on CL has been there for a while, and I finally decided to see what was up. I ended up walking away with a pair of AR-2AXs, pair of AR-2s, and a pair of Wharfedale W60s for $240.
Appearance-wise, The 2AX and the W60s are in good shape; the 2As have been painted and have a few chips. I haven't pulled the grills off yet, which by the way, what's the best way to go about that without damaging the wood?
He's got at least one pair of 2AX's left, as well as several other sets that are probably of interest to someone, and a Kenwood KA-7100. Definitely wouldn't hurt to inquire.
I'll post pics later, it's late and I'm way tired.
