This question has probably been asked quite a couple of times, but I need help with my first real set up.
I've been listening to music for as long as I can remember and have had a couple of cheap computer speakers for quite some time and as they stopped working I figured it was time for an upgrade.
These are my questions: should I go active/passive? Which are the absolute essentials I need? Any suggestions?
Room: I live in a very small room, but am planning to move out before upgrading again so no need to think too much about that
Music: Blues/pop, Jazz and Funk have been top of my list lately. The most notable names being John Mayer, Jacob Collier, Snarky Puppy and Vulfpeck.
Budget: 150-250€? I really can't tell what kind of money will get you a decent sound. I am looking to come through as cheaply as possible.
Source: I have a collection of CDs I can't listen to except in the car so I will probably buy a CD player. An aux/computer option would also be nice.
I was thinking of buying something second-hand, maybe vintage, I heard you can get very decent sound for little money.
Here is what I found on our version of ebay (only speakers - didn't dare to go any further):
-Heco precision 100 (80€):

-AUNA LINE 300-SF-WN(70€):

- Jamo AJM 105 - really cheap option, just for trying out, maybe its a gem?(20€):

Thoughts? Thank you in advance
