Sent him an offer from an old Hotmail account of mine for $75. Stated "$110 is a bit much for these, although they are nice..." Think he'll bite?

it is obvious to me that he missed a decimal point it should read $11.00 .see if he will take $10.00 for quick sale

That IS a sweet tuner!!! With a wood case is does have some value. These tuners in good shape can go for $400 to $500, on a good day and I'd pay $100 for the case. If you are in to tuners and live in a place where they have good FM reception, this is as good as it gets in a lot of peoples opinions.

you do surprise me .i thought there was near on zero call for tuners these days .i normally ask about £5 for one . i will re evaluate my tuners then .
i don't have one of them though i bet not many made it here .

I've got a tuner that sits upstairs in my garage. Nothing around here worth listening to unless you're into the top 40 schlock or the top 40 country schlock.

Oh wait, there's the classic rock station too. Same 24 songs everyday for the past 24 years.

I see only one completed auction on the 'bay right now for an Accuphase tuner, $455 for a T-101 without a wood case.

yeah good luck. It's rare to find them at all. Not likely to turn up at a flea market/boot sale.

I sold mine for 472.88 in March.

This guy is nuts or just "bragging"

I will stick with my Pioneer F9 tuner, it has (I.F. wide) etc.. for a total of fifty bucks. Some times to much information and price to match.

i get on with my tx-9800 .no drift and it pulls in stations fine plus it matches the sa-8800 . only thing is there aint much worth listening to

His description sold me (so many paragraphs and ALL THAT DATA!) and I would drop down the $1100 right now, but the stations around here don't deserve such a nice tuner and the wood case would clash with the other equipment that just have metal covers. Oh well?! :)

Really, I bet it cost big bucks new. Anything Accuphase is pretty high dollar stuff, and pretty much well worth it, if you can afford them.

Heres a T101 on the bay doesn't say anything about the case and you can't tell from the photo, but it is listed for 199 dollars starting bid.

And if you need a wood case here is one, for you!

They are CRAZY nicely built inside. FAR nicer than a Sansui TU-9900 on the inside. But I think their performance and sound is comparable. And the Sansui is prettier on the outside.

oh and "shhhhhh"
