Most of that stuff, like the jars of rocks, is pretty good for entertainment but a least you get a thing to pick up and look at.

When I tested that stupid Clever Little Clock. I researched it thoroughly. The guy whose idea it was also said attaching nuts and washers to a cat with a safety pin would enhance your musical experience.

It would at least afford you the opportunity to test your ability to hear of shrill high-frequency noise.
 
Some people have reported hearing differences. I'm not going to be disrespectful to them and suggest anything other than it's 100% real.

Seems to me this thread is getting a little bit silly and doesn't seem to be taking an objective viewpoint on the benefits of these particlar devices - but maybe I'm just too serious.

You are joking right? The entire nature of the thread is silly! The thought that somebody would spend $60 to have somebody "send a signal" to their stereo gear over the phone is hilarious!
 
Ummm...there aren't any benefits to these particular devices. Besides, of course, the benefits to the sellers bank accounts... Regardless, I'm all for silly threads. :thmbsp:

In any case, I think there's a very well-respected, well-researched scientific basis for ther fact that some folks get benefit from these devices. It's called the "placebo effect". Google it.
 
Well, the sad part about that is that a placebo, in and of itself, offers no benefit; it's all brought about by the beneficiary's BELIEF that there is a benefit.

So while the item itself offers no real effect, the power of one's belief does.
The classic example is a physician dispensing sugar pills as a "wonder drug" and the curative powers that the patient ultimately mentally applies to themselves.

Bottom line is I guess; if you think it works, it does.
