Don't see anything funny about it. A beautiful amplifier. "Unused for 35+ years" means that it will require some rehabilitation... but it is no turkey and it could well be worth the asking price to a collector of very good vintage vacuum tube audio equipment.

He's had it listed for a while, time could be getting ripe for an offer. That being said, when I first saw it I did some price checking and his price is pretty fair.

I understand Mikey, until I came on here and started searching out more pricing and what was hot I would have laughed too. I could no way throw down that much dough so I have to find the true scores. Thanks for the link though she is a beauty.

PS: I love Sanford and Son it was my fathers favorite show and one of mine as well. I have the theme song for my ringtone on my phone, every time I hear it I think of my Pop's. I miss him being here and us watching this together. I am his Big Dummy....

Hey Amcrebelfan, Thanks for the props on the Sanford and Son. My Dad's faves were M.A.S.H. and Cheers. I love some Redd Foxx though. When I watch those old shows, it reminds me of my Dad too Gotta keep the memories alive, you know.
