Unbelievable Vintage electronics sale this coming FRI-SUN 4/29-5/1. I'll post the location on Wend or Thurs....
I have 2 10 X 35 storage sheds full of console stereos as well as high end component systems, receivers, turntables, and reel to reels. Most everything is in working condition but if you see something you like I'll TOTALLY restore it. I also have ~ 30 sets of speakers (Sansui, Bose, Electro Voice and Revox. The receivers are 1970s Marantz, Pioneer, Sansui and Mcintosh,
As far as reel to reels I have mainly Teac and Akai. But I do have a few Pioneer, Tandberg and Revox. The turntables are mainly Pioneer and Technics. I do have a few Dual, Garrard, Bang & Olufsen and a really cool Rek-O-Kut for the true collectors. The console stereos range from older tube radios and mono record players to a few Grundig and Telefunken units. I also have many 1960-1970 Mid Century Modern units that will rattle you walls. I'm very aware of what everything is worth but I'm giving great deals to the truly knowledgeable and the beginning collector as well. If your interested feel free to email me with questions and a contact phone #.
No one will be disappointed in this cool sale. I'll post some pics as I get things organized.

Oh Also, I have ~20 vintage lamps that I'll try to get out as well as some Mid Century Modern furniture

Thanks For Looking

Yea, I saw that listing earlier in the week & have been trying to tempt my girfriend to go with me. It is a bit far for me, but ole Doug (dc270) is nearby. Maybe he will go also.

If I do go I will be there around noon on Saturday.

Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Yea I was concerned about the sale as well. I could not make it.

I really wanted to make it to see what deals were there.

I went by Saturday and it was pretty much as advertised. Lots of cool older items in good condition. (Some even restored/recapped) This would be a good place to buy a new toy to use. NOT for flipping. Prices were about 25% below auction prices so fair, but not enough room to make much. He did have some really nice old Marantz receivers and Pioneer turntables. Unfortunately anything I bring home needs to be directly connected to something that leaves so I didn't purchase anything. (There were 2 near mint Pioneer PL-25 turntables that sure were pretty...) It was worth the trip to see in person a lot of equipment I haven't seen for over 30 years. The fellow said he was going to try to do this one weekend a month for a while until it thins out.

I went as well and to sum it up there weren't any deals to be had. I wasn't there to get things and then flip them. All I was looking for was a really nice TT. It was fun to see so many consoles and SS stuff but he knew the "ebay value" of every single item so I just browsed and chatted with other folks.

He was a very nice guy and even set up the tables and made sure they were correct before he would sell them.
