So now that I've finished up orders for other people Its time to dig back into my stack of units that need work.
Unfortunately, I was so backed up I didn't have a chance to take a look at this 2015 I got until I was past what I would consider the "reasonable complaint" period to get at least a partial refund.
In the typical ebay fashion it was described as "lamps out, but tested and works great", and alas, t definitely does not work great. From the outside it does look nice, nothing obviously wrong.
Upon testing I noticed a few things, a very nasty hum, independent of volume, as well as the typical scratchy controls. Luckily I do plan on restoring this thing so its not that big of a deal, just aggravating when people dont mention blatant flaws.
Upon opening, I noticed that this thing was definitely not stored correctly, a decent amount of corrosion on top of the usual dust, and most of the glue appears to have turned colors and likely become corrosive from whatever humid hellhole this was stored in.

I dont think I've ever seen an output transistor case turn green! I'll have to figure out how to get the amp board and outputs out so that I can get in there for cleaning. I'm mostly impressed that everything still works, aside from that hum, which I am guessing is dead capacitors.
