I think he just took the 680 out of the dryer.

But most of the TOTL receivers were pretty huge, IIRC, the big Kenwoods, and Onkyo's were wider than 19 inches, wouldn't even fit in a rack.

Or not ... I'm sure it's close at 24 x 7 x 16 inch and a tad over 50 pounds.

Hard part is finding a rack to fit these bad boyz. Had to build my own here, but on the bright side, the extra width was handy for putting a 24" monitor on the HTPC ...

Hilarious! The 3020 is comparible in size to the Kenny Eleven. Wonder how it compares to the Fisher 1080?

3020 is wider than the 1080 by 3/4 of an inch and weighs 8 lbs more.

I gotta give you that. It DOES have presence, even visually. The little 620 in the rack is physically large compared to a lot of the Pioneers and Kennys I have (with a lot higher spec) but is still clean to hear and pleasing to the eye. Yammies of that vintage in general seem to have an understated, clean look that is pleasing in any decor, and they don't look nearly as dated as some other units.

Yep - No surprise that their current integrated amps have gone back to the future....It's history repeating....Incidentally, the A-S2000 retails here for AU$3300. :yes:

Fez - I swear those knobs would slide right onto my 620 or even the little 300, and either of those would look new sitting next to that. "Back to the future" even includes a touch of wood tone, just like it was. Cool.
