Hi.

I acquired this turntable from a relative a while ago and have only been able to find one webpage that makes mention of it on the internet. No current or past sales on eBay. Just trying to get an idea of value. I've found quite a few Sony PS 11's and some PS 22's, but I've had no luck finding any PS 33's.

Does anyone own one? Does anyone have any idea of what this might sell for? The cartridge is a Grado GF3, but let's forget about that ;)

Turntables predate the internet by far so there's no rule of thumb saying that if you can't find it - it doesn't exist. However, by now, if there's no mention of a modern turntable model on the web, it's either a very rare model that no body knows, a failing/unsuccessful/unpopular/discontinued model that no one cares about OR a market specific model that's not very popular in the western hemisphere. FWIW the PS-22 is documented in the VE library, so I'm guessing the PS-33 is just a pricier variant with different bells and whistles that wasn't as popular or was market designated.

Please for give the hyperbolic title of the thread - I was just after eyeballs :) Thanks for your response. I figured this was the case. Since this is a Sony TT, I figured I'd find more info out there and at least a handful of sales.
 
Some equipment that was sold as rack systems would get different part numbers than when sold separately. I ran into this when working on some Technics equipment from a rack system.

I have a circa 1983 Technics rack system. It has an SL Q212 turntable, and it is this way. There is very little mention of the model on the 'net. Some of the search results that come up are me mentioning it on here.:)
