Thorens TD 160 - $400?

I play records on an Phillips GA-427. I prefer a wood plinth and vintage look. I am learning about turntables and hope to get a Thorens TD 160 for the style of the thing and the promise of better sound.

I paid $350 with no cartridge for mine last year in excellent condition. $400 with a cartridge is probably a fair price

I can't help you with price but unless the seller knows how to pack a turntable properly, buying a TT that requires shipping can be very risky.
