Thorens TD-160, TD-145mkII plinth question

Will a custom wood plinth made to fit a stock TD-160 also fit a TD-145mkII? It seems the mkII's stock plinth is a little lower profile but that should only allow more room under there if using a plinth meant for a 160. Anyone know definitively?

Thanks!

As far as I know, the dimensions of the top plate and the subchassis are the same from the TD14x/16x plain or mk.1 series to the Mk. II series (and through the Mk. IV series TD16x). The main differences were the tonearms, semi automatic operation for the 14x, and the inner platter/bearings for the TD166.

The plinth heights are a little shorter in the later series but the relative subchassis motion should not exceed the plinth height. A taller plinth would not be a problem, imho.
