Hey folks,
New member here. I've seen a lot of people have posted and talked about the mods that can be done to the TD160...
I've already had a buddy do some stuff. Dampening of the subchassis, serviced the armlift mechanism so it's nice and smooth, etc.
Unfortunately there is some hum/buzz that happens at mid to high volume. Basically, I'd like to try and get that fixed.
I ordered the Schopper TP-63 armwand and i figured when that comes in, I'll go in and make the mods.
I want to add a 3-prong power inlet and a pair of RCA plugs so I can swap out phono cables.
I've done some work on guitar amps but not much, mainly just recapping and switching out resistors.
How do I convert the two prong to the three prong inlet? Basically just need a wiring diagram for doing this correctly. The same for the RCA jacks... I'm good with soldering but just want to make sure I get the wiring right
Any tips and hints on what I should take a look at or change while I'm in there would be appreciated.
Thanks guys!
