Thoughts about DeOxit L2600Np ( DeOxit grease )

I've been using this stuff for a few months now in power switches that I've rebuilt and in panel switches like the Marantz speaker switches. I've been very happy with the results. It's a non-conducting grease with an additional shot of DeOxit added for continual cleaning. When I disassembled a pair of speaker switches this week, the before and after ohm measurements went down .5 to about 1.0 ohm over the contacts. The switches now work smoothly and without any static or fuss. For the power switches, I use a burnishing tool to clean the contacts and add a dab for the contacts and a dab for the friction points. Again, clean engagement

I guess one could make the argument about "what about in 20 years".. I'm not sure I'll be in a position where I'll care much then For now it seems to work pretty well.

The first pic is a Marantz 2226B power switch I took apart and cleaned then added the grease. The next two are the two speaker selection switches from a Marantz 2285B

Thanks for posting your finding, saw this product but it is good to read a real world report.

They have a few types so you need to pay attention. One version is conductive and one has grit in it. That would ruin your day
