Thoughts on AKG K66 headphones?

Got a chance to pick a pair up locally for a decent price.

Checked the on-line reviews, most seem to be a love/hate review.

Just wondering if anyone here has a pair and would care to comment.

I have a nicer pair of AKG headphones for critical listening now, plan is
to use the K66s on my bench for testing.

Some of the reviews have me wondering as to reliability.

My current AKG cans have held up superbly.

True, I was amazed out how power dependant their performance is. With enough power they (I had a pair of 240's) sound very balanced.
