Picked up a pair of speakers from an older friend who just wanted them out of the basement, these suckers must weigh 80 pounds a piece,
on the inside we have:
JBL D130F 15 inch woofers, without dust caps unfortunately
a Calrad-20-293 8 or 10 inch woofer
and some un-labeled horn, all running through a Calrad 20-263 crossover
Unfortunately the speakers sounded pretty rough but they are very old and almost certainly need a recap and the foam was rotted on the 10 inch, what do you guys think I should do with these things? Would this be worthwhile to salvage? Been wanting to dip my toes in the JBL sound for a while now, currently loving my Boston Acoustics A-70's.
edit: the second speakers is identical to the first except that it has an Altec 418b 15 inch woofer
