i know its a stepchild to the pioneer brand but...
i found a pair of centrex mcl-3 bookshelf speakers at the thrift today for $12.
A google search led me to an archive AK post where it was said they might e from a bottom end all in one type unit? I dunno. they are heavy at at least 15lbs each, 15" tall x 8 1/2" wide x 8" deep. they sound ok really, I'm testing them with spyro gyra right now for the cool listening sound
A few weeks ago I got a sweet pioneer SA-6500II at 30wpc, the speakers rate 50, these match up very well. maybe a bit lacking in bass with a small woofer but i have a powered sub i can lay over to deepen the sound if needed.
