If anyone in the Phoenix area is interested, I spotted a pair of Akai SW-35's for $10 each at the Goodwill on Ocotillo and Gilbert in Chandler.

I hear the bass response isn't great and they aren't really my thing so I left them in case someone really wants them. Interesting labyrinth design though.

They were still there on 50% off day, so I got them for $10. Not sure what I'm going to do with them.... And my wife will kill me when she sees them.

Got any pics?Even though I have no need and know they won't displace any I would be hard pressed to leave behind for $10.Just can't seem to not pick and audition.The audio freak in me.
Sorry, I had to fight off a T-Rex to get the picks. (Ok, they aren't that old, I've just been busy.) They look pretty good, but I haven't tried to hook them up yet. At least I know the crossover is good.
I also found 1 (not a pair) Kenwood JL 680. It's in rough shape and even the cabinet needs work. I think I'll part it out if I can find someone who wants them.
Last I found 1 (also not a pair) Optimus STS 100. It's in good shape so I'll keep my eye out for another one.
The entire trip cost less than $20.
I'd add a satellite sub, perhaps some super tweeters if that's your thing, or might just learn to love that full range sound. And for 10? Fuggedaboutit!
