Got a few albums over at the good ol thrift store tonight.

Pictures At An Exhibition - Emerson, Lake, and Palmer (is practically brand new :music::D)
Selections from The Glenn Miller Story - Glenn Miller (been looking for a Glenn Miller album :))
Beethoven Sonatas 14, 8, and 23 - Rudolf Serkin

Should have some good tunes till my next journey there :smoke:

Congrats on great finds, how's the beethoven? I enjoy thrift store vinyl shopping, it's exciting when you discover the cover of something you like, but then there is the anticipation as you pull the record out to check its condition.

I passed on the ELP (same as yours but trashed) I did pick up 'Vintage Gershwin' this is a 3 LP boxed set made from 78's. PERFECT condition - might have been played once. Paid a whopping $2.99 Also got the 2001 Space Odyssey soundtrack the actuall record is not so hot but the bifold cover was worth the $0.99 and I used the record as my test subject for the wood glue cleaning method. It's now playable.

Ya that ELP one that I got actually had two of the same record, one was pretty scratched up, but the other looked and sounded like its barely been played :D

I had a mini-score today,

The highlight is a Soundcraftsmen Instructional Test Record that looks like it has never been used for $1!

The rest:
Talking Heads - Remain in the light
Tchaikovsky syphony No 4 (Berlin philharmonic) and no 5 (Leningrad philharmonic)
Michael Jackson - Beat it 12" single (mostly a joke to annoy my roommates)

I picked up a copy of American Beauty like that, one original and one reissue inside. Both were G to VG. Paid $0.50. ;)
