Hello all.
Have been running this nice TD 166 MKII that past few weeks. Ran into my first issue last night.
Tonearm is not dropping. The up and down knob is basically doing nothing. The cueing arm can be adjusted up and down manually, but returns to its up position. I can only assume some piece between the adjustment knob and the lever is either broken or jammed. Table was not dropped or abused in any way, this just happened with regular use.
Not sure what the best way to access the inside is. If it’s a tricky job I could bring it to a friend who can repair, but is about an hour away. I’d like to repair myself if possible. Would hate to break something else in the process as I’m known to do.
Thanks for any guidance.
