Time to introduce myself and my meager collection.....

Welcome to the forums. Love the gear! You have quite the collection there. How do you decide what to use? You have sooooo many receivers that I cannot wrap my head around how you choose which one to listen to. Like, do you have one set of speakers hooked to each receiver daisy chained through all tape monitor circuits or something? Honestly it's like looking at a car with 8 engines. Now I am curious. Explain yourself!!! And welcome. Lol! :)

Good question! I rotate my receivers every month or two. I have two pairs of Klipsch Fortes that I typically use. So, I connect a set of speaker wires to each receiver. When I decide which one I'll listen to I connect those speaker wires to a speaker pair. I have multiple CD players so I dedicate a CD player to each receiver. I mostly listen to CD's so that works for me. BTW...just picked up a couple more receivers today (Pioneer SX-550 and SX-3400).

That makes sense. I appreciate your honesty. It is actually smart. My shoes would last forever if I wore a different pair every day. :) Good form. You have two pairs of Klipsch Forte's!!!? Wow. I would sell every speaker I own to get a pair of those. Nice choice. What's your favorite cd player of the bunch?

Best sounding CD player is my Onkyo C-7030.... although I am very partial to the nakamichi MB-8
