Tips for removing Kef 103.2 woofer?

Great speakers but a pair I sold to a friend a few years ago has had one speaker go silent. Most likely crossover which cab be accessed via the woofer. I have removed the screws, turned speaker upside down, woofer does not budge. I could pry it out but would like to avoid damaging the front of the speaker.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Stood the speaker up in the basement last night after giving up on getting woofer out gently. Went downstairs this morning for a minute, as I walked by the spear I heard a sound. Looked over, the woofer had just fallen out. Spooky!

Time to pull the crossover and see what is up...
