The F1 tires surprised me.

Not surprising - racing slicks are very sticky and would therefore have a higher rolling resistance coming down the hill which would lead to a lower launch speed.

Was this some sort of Japanese version of 'Top Gear' perchance? :scratch2:

Very cool..

The F1 didn't surprise me.. the lightest probably, so slowest down the slope and also the widest with the most friction.. then through the air would also have the most drag...

Ok, I am cool with the part of the rolling resistance, though the tire was probably cold, (unless they took from a nearby f1 race), guess I was judging the car more than the tire
