To re-cap or not to re-cap Denon DP-47f.

So I got my hands on a DP-47f back in september as a birthday present. I had to chase it down since turntables are very expensive here in Argentina, and, since this is a somewhat hifi and rare model, more so.
The deck itself has only cosmetic damage (ie: Some minor scratches here and there, and a few bums on the wood finish), due to the unit being bootleged from Japan sometime near the 80s’. All the automatic functions work flawlessly and smoothly, and, most importantly, the magnetic trim on the inside of the platter is unscratched.
My question is, given that the unit seems to be working well, and the sound is really nice, should I get my hands dirty and re-cap it? Note that I have some experience working with turntables, having fixed an old ELAC deck and a couple of Duals. However, given the electronic nature of this deck, I’m quite worried to mess something unfixable up.
Suggestions?

The dilemma you face is that not recapping at this time can also mess something unfixable up, as in losing an IC as the caps start to move outside spec. Which is a given after this many years. Recapping as a preventative measure on units like this is a wise move to ensure continued good performance. Any of the vintage models I have owned have all been recapped, including my Denon in my sig. Incidentally, your English is not so messy.

Yes it would be better to re-cap. There are more than 40 caps, and easy to mess up. It takes a great deal of skill to do this.
