Hey people,

I have a guy who's selling a Toa TA 312E for 20€. I thought it might be good to use for recording to cassette as it has a separate rec out. From what I can tell it's a 30W PA amp, although I have no intentions on using it for a PA system. Anyone know more about this amp or Toa in general (audio quality etc.)? Any help is appreciated.

It's mono and I can't imagine why anyone would want to use something like that in a quality stereo system. Keep looking. Most receivers, preamps and integrated amps have a REC OUT, even if they don't have a tape monitor.
