I loved his guitar -- I mean his actual instrument -- the Telecaster clad in leather ... no one in Metal even thought up that scheme, lol:

Fender is also calling this a "relic".
In case y'all didn't already know, Waylon's leather-clad Tele is a 1954 model, so not real early as Telecasters go, but still really close (and similar to) those much-coveted 1950-1953 specimens. I've handled many '54 Teles that are strikingly similar in feel and sound to '53 models.
