Driving to join my wife for lunch.....I go by a yard sale....Hmm...thought I saw a piece of audio equipment....U-turn. Let's see what might be there?

I came home with a Carver receiver with rack handles...can't find a model # on the front---it just says Magnetic Field Power Amp......but it is a receiver?
Possible model # on back is BEY 645.

And a Yamaha CD player...model # CDX 410U.

I spent a few dollars for them.:D

$15. for the Carver (it is missing a knob that controls the speaker selection and a piece that operates the tuning for the tuner) (but both can be operated)

$6. for the Yamaha.

Both work and are playing right now in my basement.

Anyone know anything about the Carver? Is it any good? Sounds pretty good hooked up to crappy Aiwa speakers...

thanks

a little more info.

A little research shows the model # is actually MXR-150.

I believe the power is 150 watts per channel.

Anyone know much about this receiver?
