Which DCMs are you running. I've got TF 400s as my daily and a pair of TF 700 in storage, plus a pair of QEDs in waiting.

They are TF 500’s. Picked them up used a long time ago. They work well for my meager hifi setup.

I got mine 15 yrs ago, paid like $75 for the TF-400s they are the right size and sound pretty darn good for being 45(?) yrs old. I run some mid-fi stuff and as I say, they sound pretty darn good.

Its funny, I've heard a couple of Bob James records that were from the early 70s. In fact one is a CTI(!) release and I knew Bob could play the keyboard, but his stuff from the era needs another look.

Also got this but at a different shop. Brand new, incredible pressing. Zero noise.
I’ve been wanting a copy of this for a very long time and just never got around to it.
Love Pat’s music and he has worked with so many other great artists.
Got to see him a couple of times over the years but the first time was a the Telluride Jazz Festival in ‘78 when the Pat Metheny Group album came out.
They were so much better live than on record, although I still listen to that album a lot.

I've had this on a 3 LP set called "The First Great Rock Festivals of The Seventies" that I bought from a cut-out bin a million years ago. I read somewhere that the record company asked Davis what they should call this when they were going to release it and he said "call it anything" and they took him literally, so . . . "Call It Anything".

Agreed, top notch. I wonder though, is it Jasmine like the flower or Jazz- mine, like they are mining Jazz. Not that this keeps me awake at 2am in the morning.

• "Lotus Blossom" (Ellington's famous impromptu piano solo)
