Over the years I've discovered that I enjoy a lot of artists who've come out of Scotland and thought that having a playlist for Scotland's artists might lead me (and whomever else might be interested) to some new discoveries.
While this may seem redundant in light of the already existent Irish/Scottish/English Folk Playlist, I envision this list capturing genres beyond celtic music... although of course scottish folk/celtic music certainly qualifies too as long as there is a Scotland connection to the artist(s) or band members.
So be it the alt-brit-pop of The Delgadoes, to the folk/celt mix of bands like Silly Wizard, or the suprisingly grooving funk/soul of Average White Band, if it's from Scotland please consider listing it here.
