Above average day at the Wasilla, AK Salvation Army. Most in VG+ to NM Condition. Better than the usual beat to hell stuff. A few gems in here:

Wings - Wings at the Speed of Sound
Wings - Venus and Mars
Linda Rondstat - Simple Dreams
Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive!
Gerry Rafferty - City to City
Paul Simon - There Goes Rhymin' Simon
Midnight Cowboy Soundtrack (weird Japanese edition...?)
Rod Stewart - Every Picture Tells a Story
Doobie Brothers - Best of the Doobies
Jim Croce - Greatest Hits

The odd finds, however, are albums that were part of a larger country music collection, produced by the Franklin Mint Record Society in 1982. I found about 30% of the set. Looks like a subscription kind of thing. REALLY nicely packaged albums, with two discs per album. Awesome liner notes. The vinyl's maroon colored and barely played:

I know of the existence of the C&W set but I can only judge the classical sets that I own. I found them also at a thrift and have been very happy with them and agree that the packaging and notes are above average. The pressings seem to be well above average.

Some folks have said that the quality is spotty among the different sets but I have not found that to be the case. Any time you can find titles that you like in these sets, buy them; that is my advice. Good buy!

Thrift store, Franklin Mint. Buy em' reguardless, unless they are trashed
