NEW PETTY,,$$$$$$$$ pricey

Boy hard to justify $32.99 right now , really worth it......:thumbsdn:

There is also a free digital download included in the LP or Blu-Ray packaging.
I really like the new songs and style. The LP sounds excellent .

Got mine today from Amazon. They packed it in a box!

Sounds great of course, as expected. My critique is the quality of the pressing I received, and I'll give that a 9 out of 10. Sides 1, 3 and 4 are all very slightly off-center to the spindle hole. Side 2 is perfect. My disc 2 has a couple of odd visible surface blemishes at the same place on both sides of that disc but seems to play OK through those areas, I don't hear anything anyway. The beginning lead-in of side 3 has a faint swish noise that goes by with every revolution. Can't really hear it when the music starts though. Have to decide if it's worth the hassle to send it back for a replacement which might be better, or worse. Probably won't. (I reckon If I want dead quiet I'll pick up the damned CD for $9) I also notice the vinyl builds up a huge static charge when I clean with my Discwasher, takes many more squeezes than usual of the Zerostat to neutralize the static electric charge on these discs. Maybe because of the thicker vinyl? Or the vinyl formulation?

If you want dead quiet, download the FLAC tracks and burn them to a CD. As a bonus, they're of much higher quality than the CD -- none of that "loudness wars" crapola.

I'm sure it is a very well recorded album...I read the article in sound and vision. I listened to the whole thing online and just wasn't feeling it. I may pick it up just to have for the collection after its been out for a while and hopefully comes down in price.

That sound and vision article is great, it lists all his albums and what hits were on them. I like this and will keep it aside so I can get the songs I love because I know what to look for.
