Thanks for the responses.
Clean&Tight, I was asking myself the same thing. I recall reading something about the quality of copper that came from japan during the late 70s early 80s not being that great. Whether that is correct or not - I don't know.
I am new to the re-wire but have read many good things. Not 100% I will do it but while I am under the hood figured it might help.
~Cheers!
If you are happy with the deck's performance, I'd leave it alone.
People make all sorts of claims that are nothing more than unverified

Myths based on nothing spread like wild fire.
Re-wiring arms most certainly can offer improved performance depending on the circumstances, and there most certainly are circumstances where it is legitimately indicated.
I personally (my opinion) don't think this is one of them.
You will learn of some defect or of something that needs to be tweaked, replaced or rebuilt on ANY piece of audio equipment ever built if you spend enough time on the internet looking for things to worry about.
That is a very nice JVC table, don't screw it up with a questionable "upgrade".
I would seriously doubt that JVC cut corners on the cables on a deck at that price point, with an arm of that quality and adjustment(s) capability.
In my view a lot of this stuff is nothing more than snake oil; selling $5 dollars worth of wire for a $100.
And so it goes.
Whatever blows your skirt up!
My opinion.
