Yes it is and probably has bad bearigs

why do you say this? Do these go bad or just wear a bit needing some work?

I sold a KD-650 to a friend and I did have to repack the bearings (clean up teh race and reinstall balls dry) but that was it. Works great.

I've owned three of those arms and everyone of them had loose bearings that are most difficult to repair.

Guess I'm glad my KD-5 had two zeros after it and a Mayware tonearm on it.
