Tonearm lift Lenco L85 and anti skate

I was given a Lenco L85 a couple of days ago.
Looking on the internet I see that one of the problems is the plastic tonearm lift which on nearly everyone s cracked or damaged in some way.
This one has the same fault.
It's cracked but not broken.
I would like t remove it and glue it up.
Anyone on AK dismantled these and can tell me how to remove it:scratch2:
I did start to turn the knurled knob in an attempt but decided not to just incase it damaged something else.
I also see that this ttable came with 2 different weight for setting anti skate.
2 gram and 4 gram.
I haven't weighed the weight but the arm tends to skate to the outer edge with and without the weight on.
Do I need a heavier weight:scratch2:

I think I have the anti skate worked out:thmbsp:
Now if a Lenco expert could tell me if it's just a matter of loosening that knurled knob.
I just don't want to make more work for myself than I have to if I damage something

Resurrecting an old thread with an answer.
I have an L85IC with the tonearm lift/rest also cracked and swelled and inoperable.
The thumbscrew is a tight friction fit into a threaded shaft. It will be difficult to remove without really breaking the plastic lift more. Even after glueing back together it would need sanding to fit back properly.
A decent 3D replacement is not available anywhere that I was able to find.....yet!PXL_20260420_204555580.jpgPXL_20260420_224644241.jpgPXL_20260421_224349314.MP.jpg
