Toshiba Output Transistors 2SA1095 vs 2SA1095A Differences?

Need a few matched pairs 2SA1095A and 2SC2565A. I can't seem to find the "A" revision nor the datasheet for the "A". Are the 2SA1095 and 2SC2565 without the "A" revision the same transistors or are there slight differences? Thanks.

Usually, a suffix like that indicates a higher voltage part.

The A1095 is rated to 160V. What are they going into?

Do you have the service manual (I don't) Nikko always had complete specs on semiconductor components in their manuals. I checked the 220 manual, which has the 2SA1095 specs, not the -A.

Thanks everyone. Of course Echowars was right. The voltage for the "A" version is 180 vs. 160 for the non "A".

The rails are 77v. You'd be cutting it pretty close on a part that's already been binned. Are you wanting to use pulls from something else? While you can get NOS parts, its a crapshoot whether they are real. You are better off going with the subs Avionic mentioned. Not as fast, but much sturdier and exceed the original's voltage specs.
