Hi,
I bought warm white LED upgrades listed for use in the SA-725 / 400 / 725 series receivers (see pic). I believe they are quite common.
Will these be brighter than the original four incandescent bulbs, which I believe were 14v? The original bulbs are all working but not that bright, to be honest. Thus the LED upgrade.
And will they solder right in place of the old incandescent bulbs on the strip (pictured), or do I need to add resistors or rectifiers? I'll be honest, I don't have an electronics background beyond simple soldering. No schematic reading. If new incandescent bulbs would be brighter, I'd be able to install those on my own.
