Have a lead on some Toshiba separates (ST-335 MK II,tuner, SY -335 preamp and SC-335 amp) along with the cassette deck and turntable which i don't know the model #'s yet all in their original boxes and paperwork. Haven't agreed on a price yet, but wondering what these are worth and what i should offer? Anybody here own or are familiar with these units? :scratch2:

Not sure on those exact units, but I can tell you that the Toshiba receiver I bought cheap is very nice. Their gear is underrated and overlooked. It deserves better praise!

From what i found on the interweb, they do look really nice! Just don't know what there worth or what kind of offer i should make on them....

I looked on Ebay,on average about $125-$175 just for the tuner, pre and amp.The cassette deck and turntable can't be worth much...:scratch2:

Around here they pop up often and don't seem to sell regardless of price. I don't think you can get over $100 for the set here.

That's the tough part about brands that aren't as popular. It can be hard to sell the stuff, regardless of how nice it really is.

I own the Aurex (non-u.s. market) version of this Toshiba lineup(see my avitar, top 4 pieces) I can tell you they sound and look great. Excellent size as well if space is an issue. I bought mine from the original owner 4 or 5 years ago for $35 at a yard sale. They are a tougher sell.I have tried to off load them for a reasonable price but in the end I would rather keep them.Great build quality and bang for the buck. The amp is 45 watts rms.

Thanks guy's:yes:
I'll offer him $50 for it depending on condition and take it from there. If not, time to move on.....
