Hello everyone!

I have an old (from back in the day) Toshiba Tuner model ST-335 MkII that belonged to an older complete system (Pre-Amplifier, Power Amplifier, cassette deck & tuner table, all Toshiba products) and decided that I would use this older system to provide the sounds outside in our patio. Well the tuner works fine, turns on, no problems with reception or anything else of that matter, just that the internal light-bulbs for the display don't turn on. Either they have burned out or who knows what.
Anyway I would like to know if anyone 'knows' the recommended replacement bulb for this particular model tuner or where I can 'actually' find a service manual for this Toshiba ST-335 MkII tuner?
I've been looking for the service manual and just cannot find one. Also there really is not 'any' information about the Tuner (particular model) itself. Any and all information is graciously appreciated!

FWIW they are also sold under the AUREX brand in Canada and maybe Europe. Expand your searches. YMMV
 
I'd take the lid off and check for voltage at the lamps. Toshiba built some real quality stuff but they stay under the radar pretty much. Might have a DC feed to the lamps and could be a diode opened up or something.
