Totem speakers & McIntosh

I have a chance to pick up a pair of Totem Model 1's (original, not signature) at a pretty good price ($650). I was wondering if anyone has experience with these speakers ( or other Totems) & McIntosh, and if so, what do you think. Is this a good match. I would be pairing with a MC2105 amp & C33 pre.

Get Them!

The Totem Model 1's were a very competitive speaker in their size and price range when they hit the market. If the speakers you are considering buying are in good condition, they are a sonic bargain. The MC2105 will make them sing!

I've spent some time with Model 1's, Arro's and Hawk's at one point setting up a second system in my house. I would recommend that you listen to and consider preowned Sonus Fabers. :thmbsp: There are a few memeber here who did just that and are very happy with the results. :thmbsp:

Thanks everyone. I picked up the Totem Model 1's. They are in mahogany, and in like new condition, not a scratch on them & sound wonderful. Far greater resolve & sound stage than my Paradigms. No regrets.
