Hello all,
This is my first post here and I hope to find some help for a problem I have. I managed to buy a Thorens TD 320 Mkii (with the original TP 90 tonearm) for a good price as it was missing its dust cover and headshell. After reading up, I've realised that the proprietory headshell alone is pretty pricey (100+ USD for the headshell) so I've decided to look for alternatives.
I downloaded the manual for the TP 90 tonearm and saw that the connector stub can be disassembled from the rest of the headshell. I've attached a screenshot to this post of what I mean. My question is: is this connector stub standard across all the other tonearms? If so, I might be able to purchase the connector stub alone from somewhere.
Otherwise, is there any one kind enough to sell me one of their spares?
Thank you for taking the time to read through this.
Best
Harold
