Tractrix - mids, tweeter or both?

Where does the use of a Tractrix horn improve sound the most?

My Forte II uses a tractrix midrange horn but exponential tweeter.
The newest Heresey III uses an exponential mid-horn and a tractrix tweeter.

I'm surprised Klipsch did not use a Tractrix midrange for the update Heresey. Anybody know?

They kept with an exponential mid for the HIII in honor of PWK and the signature sound of the Heritage series. I believe the Tractrix expansion makes a bigger difference in timbre to the midrange than the higher frequencies, but I would imagine that tractrix is technically better for both.
