Transcendence Omega 240

[Thesoby9]

I am looking for info on this recently acquired Unit. I can find Omega III but not this unit.
Any info would be helpful.

If it were me I would go straight to the source and contact their support department they should have the specs for that model in their archives.

Let us know what you find out

i thought Van Alstine was a member. Do a search. Maybe get it right from the horses mouth.

A quick search for Van Alstine Omega 240 comes up with various links.

Just sent the Email. Thanks.

All the searches I did came up with the Omega III 240. I think this one is a little older.

The amp looks pretty beefy, have you connected it up yet?

[Thesoby9]

I haven't yet, the top left corner is bent so possibly was dropped. I have taken a look
inside and nothing seems obviously out of place. You are right about beefy, it is heavy.
I was hoping to get some info b4 powering it up.

[RickB]

It's a rebuilt Dynaco Stereo 150, for starters...one of VanAlstine's earlier iterations of this amp.
