Transcriptor Hydraulic Reference turntable ?

Hey folks, a neighbor is offering me this turntable - but wants for me to see it before he tells me how much he wants.. I know that they’re more of a “form over function” table - but I have wanted one..
What’s a fair price to pay, assuming in working shape - and what’s too much?

Welly, Welly, awesome find, that movie burned a permanent memory in my brain. I'd love to find or even see one of those in the flesh. I looked up the movie photos and it's slightly different, maybe a different suspension system? Since I couldn't find the TT I went all out on stereo microcassettes only to find the movie uses Philips Version the Mini Cassette. The first stereo MC didn't show up until around 1981.

Did your neighbor have any other interesting pieces of equipment?

that particular neighbor - has some of the most amazing vintage audio gear that I’ve ever seen.. He’s not married.. ;)

So far, I think it’s in need of a tonearm re-wire and a belt - just to make it function.. Someone had, at some point in time, pulled the arm tube out and wires along with it. Belt is missing but motor runs. This one wasn’t kept in pristine shape, but it’s mostly all here. I have emailed “Michael” at Transcriptor UK to ask about parts for it - and to verify that it was made by Transcriptor. Apparently, there were some similar “clones” of the Saturn which were made in Spain and sold as “Skylab”.. They do look slightly different.
Pretty sure that mine is the Transcriptor product. The Saturn was made from ‘68-‘71, BTW.
