Hey all,
Think I might have a couple of pre amp drivers that need replacing and was wondering if anyone had the proper replacement part # for a 2SC1328 and a 2SA763. I found an NTE number (199/234) but it seems that the forum does not like NTE parts and I rely on the experience provided here. Any help would be appreciated.
Here is the problem....I have been working on a 1070 and everything has gone well with the recap, but the right channel is a little less bright and a little lower volume than the left. If I switch around the pre-amp/amp connections, the problem moves, and the right channel is brighter and a little louder. It is not a big difference, but I can notice it. I did hit the transistors on the tone/pre-amp board with freeze spray and HE06 and HE08 gave a crackle. I turned it off, let it sit a few seconds and turned it back on and the right channel was out. I hit those with freeze spray and the channel came back. It has not failed since. I went back in and re-flowed the solder on HE06/HE08, but it still has the un-even problem. Thanks Rich
